It is planned to hold the 2024 Shenzhen International Eyewear (Wearable) Design Contest. Relying on the eyewear industry, the Coontest aims to promote cross-industry integration with such fields as industrial design, digital vision, virtual reality, and smart wear and boost industrial upgrades by stimulating the innovation vitality of the eyewear industry through an annual series of contest activities.
The policies have not only specified the development directions of Shenzhen in such emerging industries as smart hardware and digital creativity but also emphasized leveraging digital technologies to transform and improve traditional industries, in particular, promoting the intelligent transformation of traditional robust industries. As the eastern center of Shenzhen, Longgang District takes the initiative in responding to the superior policies by specifically formulating such policies as the Implementation Rules for Supporting the Development of Industry and Service Industry in Longgang District, aiming to promote the in-depth integration of the eyewear industry and digital technology through means such as policy support, technical innovation, and platform building.
